Aftercare
•Don’t soak your hands in water for the next few hours. •Avoid anything strenuous that put pressure or stress to the nail. •Apply hand cream to keep skin around the nails hydrated and soft. •Apply cuticle oil to cuticles to prevent dry split cuticles. •Do not bite or pick nails as will cause lifting •Treat your nails as jewels not tools. •Nails may feel a little tight but will calm down in at least 2 days so don’t bite them off. •Keep hands out of handbag if nail polish has been applied.
Homecare
•Don’t bite or pick enhancements off, this can lead to weakening , thinning or breakages to your natural nails. •Wear rubber gloves when washing/cleaning .Chemicals can be harmful to natural nail plate. •Don’t use nails as tools: Car doors, cans ring pulls and switches can all cause breakages. •If nail enhancement starts to lift don’t pick or bite at it. •Avoid pulling backwards against the tip of the nail this could cause injury or a breakage. •Use cuticle oil daily- rub into your nail enhancements and round your cuticle this will keep them flexible and prolong their life & dramatically reduce the risk of breakages. •Keep hands moisturised at least twice a day. •When removing nail polish always use non-acetone remover as acetone breaks down the enhancement. •If you need to remove your nail enhancements you should ask your nail technician who will be able to remove them without damaging your natural nails. •Any discolouration/mould you must return to the salon immediately. •Make sure you book a regular rebalance/infill appointment with your nail technician.
